Users that already have an investment entity (i.e. fund or SPV) may add another when closing on an investment. Once the user selects “Invest,” they’ll be directed to a page where they can enter the information for their new entity.
Information users need to provide includes the name of the entity and how it’s accredited. Individual accredited investors will need to provide additional personal information (e.g., their social security number and date of birth). Those investing through trusts or companies will need to enter the name, address, and tax ID of the entity (if applicable). They’ll also need to enter the name and personal information of the signatory (social security number, date of birth, etc.).
Once complete, the new entity will be an option for future investments.
